The Origin of a lightweight revolution
In 2011, Louis Croteau, an outdoor enthusiast, was forced to rethink his way of traveling due to arthritis that made sleeping in a tent impossible. Just six weeks before his vacation, he came across plans for a Teardrop mini-trailer that his four-cylinder vehicle could tow. He built a handcrafted wooden prototype using salvaged windows and a door. The result was a success.
Upon returning, Louis shared his idea with Denis Rioux. Together, they envisioned improving the concept by using rot-resistant composite materials to reduce weight and increase durability.
