The origin of a light revolution
In 2011, outdoor enthusiast Louis Croteau was forced to rethink his travel habits due to arthritis, which prevented him from sleeping in tents. Just six weeks into his vacation, he discovered plans for a Teardrop mini-trailer that his four-cylinder vehicle could tow. He built a homemade wooden prototype, equipped with reclaimed windows and a door. The experiment was a success.
Upon his return, he shared his idea with Denis Rioux. Together, they planned to improve the concept by using rot-proof composite materials to reduce weight and increase durability.
