Key takeaways

  • Stand up inside: about 5'8" of interior height to get changed, cook or simply hang out inside.

  • A real living space: benches that convert into a bed and a table for eating inside, even when it rains.

  • Slide-out outdoor kitchen: quick access and a practical layout for cooking outdoors without compromise.

  • Still lightweight: about 885 lb, 100% insulated, no wood, compatible with a wide range of vehicles.

From day one, our mission at Igloo Caravane has been simple: to offer ultralight, durable trailers with no compromises.

With the S42, officially launched at the end of October 2025, we're taking that vision even further.

A model for those who want more… without the extra weight

The T42 has proven itself: simple, efficient, lightweight. But we kept hearing the same thing:

“I'd like a bit more space… without ending up with a heavy, complicated trailer.”

That's exactly how the S42 was born.

What's new with the S42

You can stand up inside

A real game changer.

  • About 5'8" of interior height

  • More comfortable for getting changed, cooking or simply spending time inside

Taller than the T42, the S42 offers about 5'8" of interior height.

A real indoor living space

  • Benches that convert into a bed

  • A table for eating inside

  • More versatile, whatever the weather

Slide-out outdoor kitchen

  • Quick access

  • Practical, optimized layout

  • Ideal for cooking outdoors without compromise

Still just as light

Despite its roomier format:

  • About 885 lb

  • Compatible with a wide range of vehicles

Still Igloo at heart

Even as we evolve, we haven't changed what defines us:

  • 100% insulated (high-density polystyrene)

  • 100% rot-proof (no wood)

  • Durable assembly (rivets + structural adhesive)

  • No seals to redo every year

In short: a trailer built to last, not to be repaired.

Who is the S42 for?

The S42 is perfect if you want to:

  • Travel light, but with more comfort

  • Have a usable indoor space even when it rains

  • Own a durable trailer without complex maintenance

A new way to travel

The S42 isn't just a new model. It's a new way to enjoy camping: simpler, more comfortable and still without compromise.
